For the Community
At the Academy of Dreams the importance of giving back to the community is paramount. Find out more about what we have done to give back to organizations in the community such as the Detroit Dog Rescue, St. Clair Shores Police Department and many more!
Learning
While at the Academy of Dreams, students learn and practice community skills such as communication, teamwork, and responsibility. Students also learn restaurant serving skills, cooking, cleaning, and art appreciation. At the Academy of Dreams the staff works hard to make learning fun and effective for each student.
Field Trips
Some of our learning takes place outside of the classroom. We do this in the form of field trips that compliment work we do in class. Some of our past field trips included the DIA, the Jiffy factory and the Detroit Zoo.
